Greatness

Would I remain single, clean toilets, and live in a trailer for the glory of God?–appreciated, affirmed, and commended by none. No adoring crowds, no pats on the back. A life full of humiliation. Would I do it? American Christianity says that God would never ask that of me. Why not? Does He owe me that much? Was holding back His everlasting wrath from me not enough? Was recreating this blasphemous God-hater just a common courtesy?
